in personalised one-on-one session with each actor, ensuring focused and tailored interactions

multiple times over the span of 5 days.

We have a cancellation policy of three weeks prior to the start of the Lab for short workshops and one calendar month for residencies. After this, we cannot offer refunds unless another participant can be found to take the place.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

Yorgos will lead this five-day Physical Lab Masterclass in London.

​

This Masterclass will equip participants with practical tools and techniques for use on set, stage, and during auditions.

​

The goal is to achieve outstanding performances rooted in the actor's true spirit and authenticity. 

Throughout the course of this class, you will: 

 

  • Explore embodiment practices for heightened physical presence.

  • Break free from ingrained acting habits to access genuine, unconventional expressions.

  • Harness the potency of presence as a formidable acting tool.

  • Apply these techniques practically to individual scene work.

This opportunity is tailored for professional actors who seek to elevate their skills and fully tap into their innate essence without constraints.

In this 5-day Masterclass, full commitment is essential. Therefore, this workshop will be limited to 10 professionals only!

 

The schedule below ensures actors participate in multiple ensemble and one-on-one sessions.

DAILY SCHEDULE

DAY 1- Friday, May 3rd

  • Introduction to Presence, Embodiment & De-conditioning in a lecture.

  • Goal and Intention Setting for the Intensive.

  • Embodiment Training with Ensemble work.


DAY 2 - Saturday, May 4th

  • Voice & Embodiment Training.

  • Text Embodiment (Ownership Exercise).

  • Each actor will have an initial one-on-one de-conditioning session.


DAY 3 - Sunday, May 5th

  • Utilising Presence as an Acting Tool.

  • Each actor will undergo a mid-length individual session on presence in performance. 

DAY 4 - Monday, May 6th

  • Q&A Session: Progress Evaluation.

  • Embodiment Training. 

  • Embodied Acting Part 1: Half of the group will partake in extended personalised one-on-one sessions, honing individual acting exploration and scene application.


DAY 5 - Tuesday, May 7th

  • On the final day, actors individually apply the tools for their day's preparation.

  • Embodied Acting Part 2: The second half the group The group will partake in extended personalised one-on-one sessions, honing individual acting exploration and scene application.

  • Inquiry Session for Post-Workshop Research Questions.
