A search for authenticity and presence in acting, with the body being the point of entry.
We focus on stripping down acting habits rooted in social and cultural conditioning.
We offer grounding techniques as tools for presence and a way of realigning old habits.
We explore the state of performance, examining the ways in which the body, mind (conscious and subconscious), emotion, and instinct work together moment to moment.
We seek subconscious results through conscious practices.
Physical Lab runs in Europe and the US with a series of workshops and residencies. Please note, priority is given to professional performers and lab regulars.

Yorgos creates a playful, but incredibly focused atmosphere. A fantastic demonstration of how to unite mind and body. The work can be applied to subtle screen performance.
I have been given vital tools to gain a more profound insight into working with the body and to push beyond my comfort zones.
