Yorgos is an internationally recognized acting, personal development, and embodiment coach, renowned for his transformative approach to performance, leadership, and self-awareness. With a career spanning over two decades, he has guided clients across the arts, business, and wellness sectors to unlock their full potential through embodied presence and authentic expression.

Born in Athens, Yorgos began his artistic journey studying theatre at Nellie Karra’s theatre school. He launched his career as a film and television actor before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2001. There, he founded Tmesis Theatre, a company specializing in physical theatre. In 2011, he established Physical Lab, a London-based training space dedicated to the development of actors, speakers, and leaders through embodiment practices.

Yorgos’s coaching methodology emphasizes embodiment—integrating body, mind, and emotion to cultivate presence, confidence, and clarity. His work is particularly impactful for actors, public speakers, and professionals seeking to enhance their communication and leadership skills. Through international workshops, retreats, and masterclasses, he offers immersive experiences that blend movement, breathwork, and somatic techniques to foster personal growth and transformation.

As the founder of Physical Lab, Yorgos has created a dynamic platform for individuals to explore and expand their expressive capacities. His programs are designed to support participants in developing a deeper connection to themselves and others, enhancing both personal and professional relationships.

Yorgos’s expertise has been sought after by a diverse clientele, including actors, entrepreneurs, and wellness practitioners. His collaborations often involve co-facilitating retreats and workshops that integrate fitness, embodiment, and personal development, providing holistic experiences that empower individuals to thrive.

Presence in Acting | Athens

19 Jun – 21 Jun 2026
Horohronos Studio

An immersive three-day workshop dedicated to cultivating presence and authenticity in performance. This work is a journey toward uncovering one’s most authentic self and embodying a free, uninhibited artistic spirit. Through embodiment practices, participants explore how the body can serve as a gateway to deeper awareness, expression, and connection on stage. We will also work directly with the text, treating it as a living partner that invites curiosity and personal discovery. Guided by the tasting principle, artists are encouraged to experiment and stay open to what emerges in the moment.
