An immersive three-day workshop dedicated to cultivating presence and authenticity in performance. This work is a journey toward uncovering one’s most authentic self and embodying a free, uninhibited artistic spirit. Through embodiment practices, participants explore how the body can serve as a gateway to deeper awareness, expression, and connection on stage. We will also work directly with the text, treating it as a living partner that invites curiosity and personal discovery. Guided by the tasting principle, artists are encouraged to experiment and stay open to what emerges in the moment.
Return to the core principles of Fitness and Embodiment with Alex & Yorgos for our first-ever June retreat. This special edition returns to the roots of the programme, focusing on connection, presence, and personal growth. Through fitness workshops and embodiment practices, participants deepen awareness and explore more intentional ways of relating to themselves and others. Each day blends movement, reflection, and shared experience in a supportive environment. Meals and accommodation are included, with time for excursions to the beach and nearby local hotspots.

READ MORE →“Yorgos is the expert in rediscovering [your worth]. Not only from an acting-technique perspective, but also from a human one. A three-day masterclass naturally expands the physical acting boundaries that the mind tries to silence, but at its very deepest, subconscious level, Yorgos actually expands you — soul, spirit, and body. Through a soulful sensitivity, you taste the symbiosis of physical effort and release, which is exactly that sensational joy we experienced as children, when everything was complete.
Yorgos, both as a teacher and as a person, is complete. And to be in a workshop like that, to experience your fellow participants and, above all, yourself, is a sensation that brings tears of joy. Or rather — yum-yum-yum.”
“The Lab has been a great and safe place to research, try things out, not know, fail and get out of my comfort zone. After each session, I feel empowered to keep working on my acting and on myself for the days, months and years to come.”
Once again, Tatiana created a framework that allowed the whole group to flourish, and each individual to undergo the decisive experience of facing themselves. With such finesse, sensitivity, and generosity, she meets each person exactly where they are and offers them a path that is truly their own. […] I deeply admire the work Tatiana has done—and continues to do—on herself, which gives her this ability to create spaces that are so nourishing for others, and so fertile for the actor’s work.
“Working with Yorgos feels deeply aligned with my own approach to acting and being an artist. [He] creates a space that’s both expansive and grounded—where I feel safe to explore, take risks, and build a personal toolkit that reflects who I am. He doesn’t offer a one-size-fits-all method; instead, he encourages each of his mentees to find and refine what works uniquely for them. That level of support and freedom is truly empowering.”
I have found my joy in acting again. I remembered why I wanted to do it in the first place. I feel more present, warm and embodied in my own body, less self-conscious […] A weight was lifted from me through this workshop, a lot of pressure I have put onto myself and onto the craft. […] Also, I learned, that I can pour all my personal experiences into my performances, without revisiting traumatic events of the past, but rather use acting as an outlet for my emotions to come through and release. And through that reach catharsis.”
“Magical—a moment of sharing, exchange, and self-discovery within an extraordinary group. Tatiana guided us through those four days of exploration with her energy, kindness, and gentleness. Simply brilliant!”
“Yorgos challenged each of us to dig deeper into who we are as individuals—what motivates us, how we naturally communicate, and the unique strengths each of us brings to the team. [..] The client event was a tremendous success, but the lasting impact has been on our team. We communicate with greater intention, have a deeper appreciation for one another’s perspectives, and operate with a stronger sense of unity than we did before. Yorgos didn’t just help us prepare for an event—he helped us become a better team, and that is something that continues to benefit us long after the event concluded.”
“What began as pleasure has now turned into tasting, and it actually feels like a muscle I can train and a practical tool for my work. The next step will be to explore how tasting could enhance my rehearsal process and, eventually, my performance, even though I can’t yet imagine how I’ll have enough capacity for it.”
“Anyone who met me in the following days saw a more aware and determined look on my face both professionally and personally. I recommend it to everyone.”
This was my first experience with the Lab. I’ve learned theatre through various methods over the past few years, and I’d never experienced such a healthy and effective approach. […] I’m leaving this week with concrete tools that I’ve already been able to test during the workshop and in my practice afterward. This learning strengthens the skills I already have and opens me up to discovering new ones. Tatiana guided and reassured us throughout the entire process, readily stepping back to allow us to experiment under her watchful eye. She made us feel valued and respected, creating the ideal environment for us to spread our wings as actors. I am in awe of her work, her listening skills, and her incredible eye for staging! The Lab is an experience difficult to describe because it has to be lived. I would encourage anyone wishing to better understand themselves and develop their stage presence to participate in a workshop, as the experience will undoubtedly be positive and I think it will resonate for a long time in the lives and practices of all those who have experienced it.
“I feel able to conquer the world… It’s just the best ever experience.”
“I learned in [this] retreat how to slow down in every possible way.”
“Reconnecting with my essence via Yorgos’s guidance is a tool I’m not only excited to bring into my artistry, but also into my life as a whole. It’s truly been a priceless discovery.”
“It was such a transformational experience for me. Everyone should experience this.”
“Yorgos’ work is in perfect continuity with what Crete awakens in me: a deeper anchoring in the body, access to buried emotions, the courage to take risks, and the pursuit of a sincerity that can only enrich the creative process. More than an artistic approach, it is a true journey into the depths of the soul — one that seeks to serve art in its most authentic form.”
“What I’ve loved about [the retreat] is meeting people from various countries.”
“[Yorgos] held the space so gently and I felt so safe and contained even though we were exploring work that could make one feel vulnerable and exposed. I felt such a shift exploring text after the very physical dancing with the masks on—it was very liberating going from that almost delirious state into the text because I was completely connected to the emotional story and not even thinking about lines. It was a very powerful experience.”
“Working with Yorgos for 10 days in Crete, preparing for a TV part was an amazing experience! Even in moments of self-doubt and fatigue, when you face your own wall, he was always there fully present with me, both with great care and rigour! I have been working with Yorgos for about 8 years, and he always gives me strength and tools to keep going forward.”
“Yorgos helped us tremendously with being able to express our stories and our ‘why’ through our presentations in an effective way. Yorgos coordinated meetings so that he could truly understand us as individuals and how to best communicate with our clients. One of his best skills was listening and being able to ask the right questions that made us think critically. […] He definitely elevated our speeches and presentations. Our client feedback has been positive and well-received. Following our event, we continue to engage Yorgos for assistance in our everyday business. He has been a great career coach who has kept us accountable and helped point us in the right direction.”
“I was familiar with Yorgos through participation in Fitness & Embodiment Retreat experiences. Having worked with him in that context, I had a strong intuitive sense that he would help us elevate our presentations to a much higher level, enabling us to communicate more powerfully with each other and with our clients. He critiqued our speeches, making numerous helpful suggestions about vocabulary and the sequencing of thoughts and ideas. He helped us enhance our presentation techniques and he integrated Jungian archetypes that animated each person’s self-image and voice.
The event was a huge success. Clients in attendance gave very positive feedback and appreciated our “pulling back the curtain” in this manner. Most importantly, the preparation was a transformative team-building experience that has elevated our solidarity to a new plane.”
