Beyond the originality and the exotic character of a retreat in Crete for the creation of my performance, I found a sense of serenity and depth that allowed me to bring a new dimension to my work. The island’s effect on me [was] powerful. Its nature, its sea, and above all its unique energy helped me refocus on what truly matters: myself and the artistic process. Everything superficial naturally fades away in this context—and that’s a blessing.
