Return to the core principles of Fitness and Embodiment with Alex & Yorgos for our first-ever June retreat. Expanding the horizons of their work, June will be a return to the roots of the programme, focusing purely on connection and personal growth.
Our September 2026 retreat will honor the standing tradition with Alex, Yorgos, & Dr. Lena returning as instructors. Through movement, education, and community, you'll gain practical tools to lead a more balanced, energized, and present life—long after the retreat ends.
The Physical Lab Retreat is our flagship annual event for actors — a six-day immersive experience on the beautiful island of Crete where performers from around the world come together to deepen their craft and advance their artistic mastery.
We then went to the Ancient Aptera Theatre, where each actor explored their scene. We experienced ten authentic presences, ten different stories, ten magnetic universes. All actors dove into each scene with such fun and ease, with a true sense of playfulness, regardless of the material.
We all know that there is one—a process, some technique that each one of us uses to find the underlying truth of the character, scene, etc. There is a trajectory that has to happen to connect the two dots of A) the real you and Z) the character on the page. Sometimes the distance isn't so far, and other times it feels like an impossible leap.
It's crucial for actors and artists to have Clarity, Meaning, & Purpose when stepping into the unknown for rehearsals or performances. We don’t simply dive into uncertainty hoping for something to happen!
