Audition Intensive

Paris

WITH Tatiana Spivakova
19 – 22 February 2026

A focused exploration of auditioning as an embodied practice—where technique meets presence and authentic performance emerges.

About the workshop

Join Tatiana Spivakova for a four-day immersive Lab dedicated to the art of auditioning—an experiential journey that bridges technique, presence, and authenticity. Designed for actors and performers seeking to deepen their craft, this intensive offers a safe, exploratory space to rediscover freedom within structure and truth within performance.

Reveal who you are

This Lab is a focused exploration of truthful, connected auditioning with the goal of helping you bring your full presence and authenticity into the casting room. Join a dedicated group of actors for an intensive four-day experience designed to deepen your grounding, sharpen your instincts, and elevate your audition craft.

Throughout the weekend, participants will work on translating personal truth into dynamic, moment-to-moment audition choices. Through physical connection, emotional access, and clear technique, you’ll learn how to bring ease, spontaneity, and confidence to every audition—whether it’s for stage, screen, or drama school.

Preparing for a Lab

For our short courses, participants are asked to prepare and learn a single piece of text. This helps you fully engage with our Lab methodology and explore how text can be embodied and emotionally expressed. You’re welcome to work solo or with a partner, in any language you’re most comfortable with.

If you’re unsure of what to choose, please feel free to browse our library of suggested text. For full details and guidance, please visit: Preparing for a Lab.

The Studio

Originally created in Montreuil by Charles Pathé, the former glass-roofed film studio later hosted émigré artists led by Joseph Ermolieff, becoming Société des Films Albatros and producing over 1,200 films in a collaborative creative environment. Closed in the early sound-film era and later protected as heritage, the site reopened in 2001 as a multidisciplinary arts space. Today the Albatros Space welcomes filmmakers, performers, musicians, dancers, and visual artists, continuing its historic role as a shared place of artistic creation and experimentation.
